We at Thirty West are pleased to announce the three coauthors of Julie, or Sylvia, a genre-bending novel following a woman who awakens in a London asylum and isn’t sure whether she is dead or alive, how she got there, and what is real. This is one of three novels in “The Ternion,” which is coming this summer.
Alright, without further ado, here are the authors…
Nicole Tallman is the author of three previous collections: Something Kindred and Poems for the People (The Southern Collective Experience Press, 2022 & 2023), and FERSACE (ELJ Editions, 2023). She serves as the official Poetry Ambassador for Miami-Dade County (Florida), Editor of Redacted Books, and Poetry and Interviews Editor for The Blue Mountain Review and South Florida Poetry Journal. Julie, or Sylvia is her collaborative fiction debut. Find her on social media @natallman and at nicoletallman.com.
Ibrahim Sofiyullaha is a writer who has dedicated his career to exploring the human condition through his unique, evocative prose and journalism. His work has been published in numerous literary publications and is the author of Through the Aisle of My Fantasy. In his personal life, Ibrahim is a devoted man who enjoys spending time with his family and traveling to new and exciting places.
Beryl Cooper is the obvious pseudonym (or heteronym, depending on mood) of a person not nearly notable enough to require such obfuscation. Beryl is a joke, a pun, a sort of homophonic stutter. Beryl is oriented toward depersonalization and de-subjectivization, a disembodiment or becoming a ghost. Maybe. In other words, Beryl is (not).
Other work may or may not appear under this sign, and if you encounter such work it may or may not ultimately be the work of the same relatively unnotable puppeteer-author.
Now you know all of The Ternion’s writers. Keep an eye out for more updates of all the #antiwrimo stuff, only on Afterimages.
