The 2023 publishing calendar is complete. We had an astronomically huge year that’s still unraveling as we speak. Tried some new things, but came up short in others. Had career-defining moments and unfortunate lows. If it was all ‘good, thanks for asking,’ that would be lame. This is indie-lit, baby, and it’s dynamite.
We’re rebelling against NaNoWriMo again! This time, we’re doing The Omnibus Edition. A few manuscripts into one book. Smaller teams of authors writing in closer proximity. We can’t wait to get this out in 2024. Applications are still live, but we’re making rolling acceptances now. Closes October 13th.
The Extra Bits
Philly, NJ, and Delaware: Please come out to the Collingswood Book Festival this Saturday! It’ll be loads of fun. Tell your friends to go if you cannot. I’m unrolling a new layout for our books at the TW table (#132). More fall festivals and events will be announced soon.
Our 2024 roster is nearly complete. Formal announcements will be coming in the next month. We start presales this holiday season.
More Afterimages essays, interviews, and reviews are on the way. We will come up with a nice ‘family photo’ for next month. Hope to see you soon.
